Family History Homebuilding is a Fontana family tradition, with nearly a hundred years and four generations in the business, experience and knowledge has been passed down from father to son since 1908. This family tradition started in Messina, Italy approximately 100 years ago by Carmelo Fontana and was continued by his son Nunzio Fontana, and exported to New York City in 1969 by his son Franceso Fontana. Today Francesco's son, David Fontana owns and operates what is now FDM Corp.
With a client list that dates back over 26 years, Frank and his son David, have built a company that is deep rooted in family tradition and quality work. We have built homes for the children, grandchildren and friends of our past clients and we pride ourselves in the relationships we maintain with them even after the job is complete.
Philosophy 99% of our clientele and their architects have used or recommended us on other projects. This is due to the high success rate of customer satisfaction. This is achieved by the professionalism our firm is driven by. We understand our clients' and their architects' needs and desires.
Dedication to a family tradition for quality craftsmanship is, without question, our greatest motivation. All of our 30 plus employees share in this goal.
Unlike most firms we do not allow growth for growth's sake. We've chosen the path less traveled, the path of quality, service, honesty and integrity.
